I. He wants us to know that in our natural state we're not in the right relationship
with him, and cannot save ourselves.
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23.
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy
He saved us, Titus 3:5.
II. He wants us to know that Jesus Christ has already provided a way to
place us in the right relationship with Him.
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16.
III. He wants us to know that we must repent of our sins, confess them,
and forsake them.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and
to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. I John 1:9.
IV. He wants us to know that our acceptance or our refusal of the Lord Jesus
Christ will determine our eternal destiny.
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life; and he that believeth
not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. John
3:36.
Dear friend, if you have never received the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, will you trust him today?
